This reader contains a wide variety of selections representing both the South African and Lesotho press. Each of the twenty-eight selections have individual vocabularies with words fully parsed into roots and affixes. Translations of each form the second part of the book. The grammar sketch details all major particles, pronouns, verb affixes, and sentence patterns; most examples come from the reading selections. The orthography of both the grammar and lexicon is that of South Africa since most grammatical studies to date are in the Lesotho version.
