This handbook is intended for visitors to Albania or Kosovo who need an elementary knowledge of the language and a tool for communication with Albanians. It contains common phrases in English and in Albanian along with glossaries. The 2,062 phrases in English and Albanian are grouped by topic, e.g., emergency needs, medical aid, customs and passport control, greetings, directions, military terms, etc. The Albanian-English and the English-Albanian glossaries list keywords with a gloss, part of speech, and index numbers to the word as used in the phrases. The handbook also contains notes on culture, basic grammar, and pronunciation.
